Identity Politics to divide

Statement:

The ethos of the controlling class has always been ‘Divide and Conquer’, and that is the role of which Identity Politics plays.

The majority of people are decent, fair and just focused on their daily lives and looking out for their families. But the role of Mainstream media is to create biases of regular people by pushing narratives that magnify societal division.

The topics below are some of those areas of contrived and controlled division:

Psychological Tactics:

  • Gaslighting: Gaslighting is a type of psychological manipulation in which an abuser attempts to gain psychological control over another by sewing seeds of self-doubt and confusion, deliberately and systematically feeding false information, intentionally distorting reality, and coercing the victim into constantly questioning themselves. The term originally derived from the 1944 film ‘Gaslight’, in which a woman’s abusive husband, slowly twists and shapes her reality until she believes she must be going insane.

Example: During the covid years, one might have raised the issue that excess deaths increased in tandem with the Covid Vaccine Rollout, only to be told by the media and health ‘experts’ that such an observation was crazy or that you were a conspiracy theorist for raising such a correlation. Other words, like ‘misinformation and disinformation spreader’, has been used by the gaslighters towards those questioning the official narrative.

How to overcome gaslighting: Get your facts straight. Dig into the data. Consolidate the information. Then no amount of gaslighting will knock you off of your foundation.
