Why manufacture a crisis?

• If a Government had ambitions of gaining more power over a population, they would first need an excuse to create a new system that gives them more power. To manufacture your own crisis allows you to define the new system based on the problem you create. Covid-19 and Climate Change are two good examples of such a manufactured crisis.

What would they need for their manufactured crisis to work?

• As much trust and compliance from the public as possible.
